Do you have a dog that needs to chill out around other dogs or people? Chill Out sessions are geared toward modifying aggressive dog behavior. These sessions are for dogs who are undersocialized and have either poor social skills or have developed sensitivities towards the proximity of other dogs or strangers and therefore lunge out to keep them away. Through a combination of management and behavior modification techniques, the sessions aim to safely progress to a point where your dog can observe other dogs and strangers without aggressive displays.
First session is humans only. $85/session. 5 sessions to start, with follow ons as necessary.

Prerequisite: Discussion with instructor. Attending dogs must be current fosters for shelters or rescue organizations. Dogs must be free of aggression towards people or other dogs. As both a training facility and as animal lovers, we realize the importance of finding homeless pets safe forever homes. Periodically we will offer a session solely for foster pups and their volunteer family to help assist organizations with training and socialization with a variety of people, pups, and places. We will work on basic behaviors that will assist fosters with finding (and keeping) new homes. If a dog is adopted prior to finishing the class, the adoptive family can step in and finish up the class with their new pet (a perfect way to start building their new relationship!).
One hour a week for six weeks. Humans only for the first class. Class is offered at a significant discount, please email instructor for details or to request this class for your rescue organization.
